I started fishing at a young age on the James River in Virginia, but it wasn't until my time at the Virginia Military Institute that I discovered my passion for fishing. Since then, I've traveled across the United States and ventured into South America, chasing after my favorite species. I created this website to help those who, like myself when I started, may feel lost when searching for information or guidance in the world of  fly fishing. My mission is to empower others with knowledge and confidence to explore this incredible sport, leading them to unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories.
